TGMDC SAND BAZAAR

The Government with the aim to cater to the needs of the people had brought out a concept of having “SAND BAZAARS” in and around Hyderabad at an affordable price.

The Government decided to have the price @ Rs.1600/- per MT for Coarse sand from stockyard and Rs.1800/- per Metric Tonne for Fine Sand (throughout 365 days) near the stockyards located at Abdullapurmet, Vattinagulapally and Bowarampet.

Initially 3 “SAND BAZAARS” were started as mentioned below :-

Abdullapurmet (V), Hayatnagar (M) on 17.03.2025 in Rangareddy District
Bowrampet (V), Dundigal (M) on 18.03.2025 in Medchal-Malkajgiri District and
Vattinagulapally, Gandipet (M) on 19.03.2025 in Ranga Reddy District.
Subsequently Sand Bazaar inaugurated Adibatla on 16.04.2025 in Ranga Reddy District.

DOORSTEP DELIVERY - TGMDC has started Doorstep delivery service of sand to the consumers. Sand can be booked both from Sand Bazaars as well as directly from the Stockyards. On successful booking of sand in this mode, TGMDC will deliver the sand using empanelled Transport directly to the consumer doorstep.

Some more “SAND BAZAARS” shall be opened to facilitate the supply of sand to the people at an affordable price. The transport facility has been designed in such a way that the consumers can have their own vehicles or Corporation (M/s.TGMDC Ltd) can help in transporting the sand to the customer’s destination.

The capacity of Vehicles that can be booked is mentioned below :-

Tempo Tractor : 1-2 Tons
Tractor : 3-5 Tons
6 Tyre Lorry : 6-10 Tons
Lorry : 19.5 Tons
Lorry : 26 Tons
Lorry : 32 Tons
