As part of the Government of Telangana’s commitment to e-Governance and transparent citizen services, the Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation (TGMDC) has implemented the Sand Sales Management and Monitoring System (SSMMS)—a robust and end-to-end IT solution aimed at ensuring year-round availability of sand at affordable rates to all citizens.

SSMMS covers the entire lifecycle of sand management, including: :-

• Stockyard Registration and Management
• Excavation and Production tracking
• Transportation to Sub-Stockyards and Sand Bazaars
• Sales, Booking, and last-mile Delivery to Consumers

Through this prestigious initiative, SSMMS promotes efficiency, accountability, and sustainability in sand distribution. Real-time monitoring and data analytics facilitate effective decision-making and operational control across all stages—from excavation to doorstep delivery.

To prevent pilferage and unauthorized transport, SSMMS incorporates stringent anti-pilferage measures and is integrated with multiple departments to enable seamless coordination and data sharing. This inter-departmental synergy strengthens governance and enhances transparency at every touchpoint.
